A look at the interior of the new Kia Stinger

This year’s North American International Auto Show proved to be an exciting time for both Kia and fans of sporty coupes. The Korean automaker introduced the all-new Kia Stinger, a handsome, four-door sedan coupe. What started as Kia’s GT concept car in 2011 was eventually developed into an affordable luxury car, as high-end as something like the Audi A7, but expected to be half the price.

It’s no accident that the new Kia Stinger will see Audi as a direct competitor. Former Audi designer Peter Schreyer had a big say in how this coupe turned out to be. As such, the Stinger acts as Kia’s first movement toward offering affordable luxury vehicles.

The Kia Stinger features a long wheelbase and a fastback silhouette, leaving plenty of room in its cabin for passengers to enjoy available amenities, like Nappa leather seats or ultramodern stereo systems. Its sporty, race-track inspired performance is backed up by two engine options. A 2.0-liter Twinturbo engine is available, as is a 3.3-liter V6 engine, which boasts 365 horsepower. The Kia Stinger will also be equipped with the latest safety technologies, like forward collision alert, so that drivers can find a balance between speed and security. With that in mind, the Kia Stinger promises to be a great solution for those looking for something to fit both family and personal needs.

Final Teaser for Kia’s New Sport Sedan

Final Teaser for Kia’s New Sport Sedan

Before it gets officially unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a fourth and final teaser has been released for Kia’s new sport sedan.

In the first video, Kia showed off its performance with clips of the new sedan taking on the legendary Nürburgring track in Germany. We see a clip of the car reaching 277 km/h, which equals about 172 mph, and would make it the fastest Kia to date.

The second video shows the car going from 0-100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds at the Namyang R&D Center test track in South Korea. And, in the third video we get glimpses of the car’s profile, its curves, headlight design, and an overall feel for the car, but not really any colors.

In the final video, we get to see the car in a stunning shade of red and see a few more angles than we did before, including a hood scoop, a peek at the interior, multiple exhaust tips, the turbocharged engine, and a glimpse at some of its technology.

We’ll learn all the details about Kia’s new sport sedan, including its name, at the show when it is revealed on January 8th. What features do you hope to see in this all-new sport sedan from Kia.
